How do I join Covenant Match?
Ask your pastor for your church's invite code. Download the app, tap "Get Started," select "Church Member," and enter the invite code to create your account.
How do I get an invite code?
Invite codes are provided by your church pastor. If your church isn't on Covenant Match yet, ask your pastor to sign up at the app and request pastor access.
I'm a pastor. How do I sign up?
Download the app, tap "Get Started," and select "I'm a Pastor" during registration. Fill in your church details and submit for review. Our team will verify your pastoral role within 1-2 business days. Once approved, you'll be able to create your church and get an invite code to share with your congregation.
How do I create my profile?
After joining your church, go to the Profile tab. Add your photos, personal information, interests, and what you're looking for in a partner. The more detail you provide, the better your matches will be.
Why aren't my photos showing?
Photos are reviewed by your pastor before becoming visible to other members. This helps ensure a safe and respectful environment. You'll see a "Pending" badge on your photos until they're approved.
How do I edit my profile?
Go to the Profile tab and tap "Edit" at the top right. You can update your information, add or remove photos, and change your interests at any time.
Can I delete my account?
To delete your account and all associated data, please contact us at covenantmatchapp@gmail.com. We will process your request within 30 days.
How do I control who sees my profile?
Go to your Profile tab and use the privacy toggles at the bottom. You can lock your full profile (only name and city visible), hide photos until mutual interest, hide your age or height, and control visibility to other churches.
What does "Lock Profile" do?
When your profile is locked, other members can only see your name and city. They must send an Access Request to see your full profile, which you can accept or decline.
How do I block someone?
Open their profile, tap the three-dot menu (⋯) at the top, and select "Block." They will no longer be able to see your profile or contact you. You can unblock them anytime from Settings.
How do I report someone?
Open their profile, tap the three-dot menu (⋯), select "Report," and choose a reason. The person will be automatically blocked, and your pastor will be notified to review the report.
How does matching work?
Browse profiles in the Discover tab. When you find someone interesting, tap "Express Interest." If they also express interest in you, it's a mutual match! You can then start messaging each other.
How do I message someone?
You can only message mutual matches. Once matched, tap the "Chat" button on their profile or go to the Matches tab and tap "Chat" next to their name.
Can I unmatch with someone?
Yes. Open their profile, tap the three-dot menu (⋯), and select "Unmatch." Both of you will be removed from each other's matches. You can re-match later if both parties express interest again.
How do I manage my church members?
Use the Members tab in your pastor dashboard to view all members, verify profiles, and enable or disable accounts.
How do I review photos?
Go to the Photos tab in your dashboard. You'll see all pending photos with Approve and Reject buttons.
How do I share my invite code?
Go to Dashboard → "Invite Members" to email the invite code to your congregation. You can also copy the code and share it in your church bulletin, WhatsApp group, or during announcements.
Can I change the app's color theme?
Yes! Go to Dashboard → "Customize Theme" to choose from Gold, Rose, Sage, or Royal color schemes for your church.
