The purpose of this study is to better understand how the brain responds to nicotine in young adults. 

Participation Involves:

• Two 3.5 hour visits to UC San Diego

• Questionnaires, cognitive tests, & MRI scan

• Administration of a 2mg nicotine lozenge or placebo

• Earn $100 for completing each appointment

• 18-19 years old

• Prior experience with nicotine not required for participation.
