Hi! I am Courtney Capps. I was born and raised in our Enka community as a Sugar Jet! After earning my bachelor's degree from Western Carolina University I taught Physical Education at Enka Middle for six years while also coaching basketball and cross country. 

While teaching, I earned my master's degree in School Administration from Western Carolina University. I have had the pleasure of serving as a school administrator at the middle school and high school levels since 2016.

I love living in the mountains with my husband, four kids and our dog, Willow! We love to be active, be outside, and enjoy time with our family and friends!

 I am passionate about growing as an educator, building positive relationships and collaborating with the Enka school community to help students and families experience success. I love being part of the energy and joy students bring to school each day! We will work together this year, and I am confident we will have many successes to celebrate together!
