Courtney Gladden 

I am a left-handed mixed media artist living and working in Spokane Washington. I have lived here most of my life and currently share our north side home with my husband and our dog. I draw creative energy from the natural beauty of Eastern Washington the changing seasons and the everyday rhythms of life around me.

Art isn’t just something I do, it’s how I see and experience the world. I love nature, reading, writing, and gardening, and all of that finds its way into my work. I create in both traditional and digital mediums, using acrylics, pens, markers, and colored pencils to mix realism with imagination.

I’m drawn to layered compositions and little storytelling moments that spark curiosity, whimsy, and feeling. Forests, skies, old art, medieval architecture, fantasy worlds, and even the music I listen to all feed my inspiration. By observing, experimenting, and getting hands-on, I combine real life and fantasy into pieces that are thoughtful, expressive, and playful.
