Couple Games (”the App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is developed by Oussama El Mejdoubi.
This Privacy Policy explains what information Couple Games handles, where it is stored, and how third-party services used by the App process information.
Couple Games is designed as an offline-first application. Most information you create or use in the App remains stored locally on your device.
This may include:
Names
Anniversary and birthday dates
Memories
Notes
Favorites
Custom questions
Custom challenges
Custom decks
Photos attached to memories
Completed games and challenges
Questions and challenges completed
XP, levels, and streaks
This information is stored locally on your device and is not uploaded to servers operated by us.
If you attach a photo to a memory, the photo is stored within the App’s local data on your device. We do not upload or have access to that photo through our own servers.
Couple Games does not require you to create an account or sign in, and we do not directly collect your name, email address, or other personal information through our own servers.
If you enable iCloud Sync in Settings, supported App data—including progress, memories, favorites, and custom content—is synchronized across your compatible devices using Apple’s iCloud and CloudKit services.
This data is stored in the user’s private CloudKit database associated with their Apple Account.
Apple states that data stored in a private CloudKit database is accessible only to the user by default and is not visible to the developer through the developer portal. (Apple Developer)
We do not operate our own cloud server for this data and do not have access to the contents of your private CloudKit database.
If you disable iCloud Sync, the App continues to store and use supported data locally on your device.
If you choose to use Apple Game Center, Couple Games may submit your best streak and unlocked achievements to Game Center so that you can use supported leaderboards and achievements.
Game Center processes this information through Apple’s Game Center services. Apple may make certain Game Center information, such as leaderboard scores and achievements, visible to other players according to Game Center’s features and privacy settings. (Apple Developer)
Couple Games does not operate a separate server for Game Center data.
When GameKit identifiers are used by the App, they are provided by Apple as scoped identifiers designed to protect player privacy. (Apple Developer)
Couple Games offers an optional Premium subscription.
Purchases are processed through Apple’s App Store using StoreKit. The App also uses RevenueCat as a subscription management service to help verify purchases and maintain subscription entitlement status.
Apple processes your payment information. We do not receive or store your credit card number, payment credentials, or other payment details.
RevenueCat may process information associated with your App purchase, including an anonymous App User ID, technical information, and purchase or transaction information required to manage subscription status. RevenueCat’s default anonymous App User ID is randomly generated when the RevenueCat SDK is initialized if no custom user ID is provided. (RevenueCat)
RevenueCat does not receive your Couple Games memories, photos, custom questions, custom challenges, or other local App content through the subscription integration.

Couple Games may send local reminders for features such as anniversaries, birthdays, or streaks.
These notifications are scheduled and generated on your device using Apple’s notification framework.
We do not operate a notification server and do not send your reminder data to our servers or to an external notification provider.
Couple Games:
Does not display advertisements.
Does not use third-party analytics SDKs.
Does not use advertising or tracking SDKs.
Does not sell your personal content.
Does not operate a server that stores your memories, photos, notes, or custom content.
Does not require a Couple Games account.
Does not upload your locally stored Couple Games content to our own servers.
Third-party Apple services such as iCloud and Game Center, and RevenueCat for subscription management, may process information as described in this Privacy Policy and under their respective policies.
Locally stored App data remains on your device until you delete it, reset the App’s data through Settings, or uninstall the App.
If iCloud Sync is enabled, synchronized data may remain in your private iCloud storage until it is deleted through the App or applicable Apple account/iCloud controls.
Because we do not operate a server containing your personal Couple Games content, we cannot independently recover or delete copies stored on our servers.
Subscription-related information processed by RevenueCat and Apple is retained according to their respective policies and retention practices.
Couple Games is designed for couples and is not directed toward children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the App, its features, third-party services, or applicable legal requirements.
When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this Privacy Policy.
