Ballymoney North is a sandy beach 6 minute drive away and about 33 minute walk. This is the most popular Beach nearby. My other favorite is Kiltennel Beach (4 minutes drive) which is a pebble beach and sometimes sandy which has a forest walk along side it. You can also access another Beach just at Seafield if you turn right instead of the more popular left turn at the Ballymoney North carpark / Beach shop and walk along the cliff to the metal stairs to the beach. Courtown Beach is 9 minutes drive away and the spectacular Cahore South Beach is 24 minutes drive away via Riverchapel and the coast road (R742)
0ne Superking room located on the first floor along with a Double and a Bunk bed room (2 single beds) and a full bathroom with large shower. The second Double bedroom is located on the ground floor for those with low accessability needs, there also is a shower / toilet room on the ground floor.
The property accommodates up to 8 guests. We have a very large spacious lounge and additional lounge seating area in the kitchen. We have set up the lower bedroom to be a gaming teen hang out zone also. The kitchen has a large table with extendable options available. When the weather is good there are additional dining and seating areas, sun loungers in the garden / patio area. Our past guests all leave rave reviews and comfort is my top priority.
We have free space for upto 4 cars and an electric charging port is available, first charge free, the rest at cost. Report provided on request.
Check in anytime usually and check out by 2pm most of the time. If there are guests arriving on the same day as check out, I ask people to leave by 11am to give enough time for check in by 4pm.
Yes we have the hot tub available all year. It is heated to 39 degrees for adult only check ins and set to 37 degrees for safe use by children. The hot tub area is not covered as we like to look at the stars which there are many due to the very low light pollution. We sanitse the hot tub before every check in.
We have a cot and a bed rail available upon request. We also have a bath seat, high chair and childrens dining plates / cutlery / bowls / trays (so the peas don't touch the potatoes !). There is a games and craft cabinate in the kitchen and some magnatiles, cards and other games in the lounge. Our garden is very big for the improptu football matches and during the summer we like to put up hammocks. We are highly rated for families and even teenagers where the hot tub is an obvious favourite. We are located in a safe gated environment with playgrounds nearby also.
I also love to cook! We have a double tray airfryer, a Sage Combioven / microwave / steamer, a Monsiour Cuisine (Thermomix eqivalent), Proper coffee maker with milk steamer. Kettle, electric hob with all the pots, pans and dishes you need for a 5 course meal if necessary! It really is a home from home.
Yes our furry friends are one of the most important members of the family and they love a holiday too! I usually request no more than 2 large dogs.
