This Policy covers the App’s on-device processing and limited processing by third-party providers used for in-app purchases, subscription entitlement, crash reporting, and basic usage analytics.
Country-level location and stays, including background location collection used to detect which country you were in on a given day.
Calendar/timeline/trips, custom areas (e.g., states/regions/cities), and “Air/Sea/Transit” marks.
Imports from Photos (date/location metadata read locally).
CSV import/export you choose to perform.
These data remain on your device unless you export/share them yourself. You can delete them at any time from within the App (“Delete all data”).
Purchases & subscriptions:
Apple/Google In-App Purchases (platform purchase metadata).
RevenueCat (subscription status/entitlements; no advertising use).
Diagnostics & analytics:
Firebase Crashlytics (crash logs, app version, device info necessary to fix issues).
Firebase Analytics (aggregated, non-ad usage events such as screen views and feature use).
We do not use advertising SDKs, IDFA/AAID for ads, attribution networks, or cross-app tracking.
The App can show local notifications (e.g., “days remaining” alerts). You control notification permissions in your device settings.
Consent: platform permissions such as Location (including Background), Photos access, and Notifications.
Contract: processing necessary to provide in-app purchases/subscriptions (Apple/Google IAP, RevenueCat).
Legitimate interests: Crashlytics and basic product analytics to keep the App reliable and improve quality. You may disable analytics in the App settings.
Counting residency/visa days (Schengen 90/180, 183-day, SPT, custom rules) and showing alerts.
Handling purchases and validating Pro access.
Ensuring stability, safety, and performance (diagnostics/analytics).
No advertising, no sale of personal information, no behavioral profiling.
Apple / Google — in-app purchase processing.
RevenueCat, Inc. — subscription entitlements.
Google LLC (Firebase) — diagnostics (Crashlytics) and analytics.
These providers may process data in the EEA and/or outside the EEA (e.g., USA). We rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses) offered by those providers.
Where data is transferred outside your jurisdiction (e.g., Firebase/RevenueCat servers), it is protected by valid transfer mechanisms (e.g., SCCs) and technical safeguards such as TLS.
On-device travel data: kept until you delete it or uninstall the App.
Subscription metadata (RevenueCat): kept for the subscription term and any necessary period for fraud prevention/accounting per provider policies.
Diagnostics/analytics (Firebase): retained per provider defaults. You can request deletion support via our privacy contact and/or disable analytics in the App.
You may have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object, port data, and withdraw consent (without affecting prior lawful processing).
Inside the App, use “Delete all data” to remove on-device records. For data held by providers (RevenueCat/Firebase), contact us and we’ll assist.
You can lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Encrypted local storage (Keychain/Keystore).
TLS/HTTPS for all communications with third-party services.
Data minimization: we do not transmit your stay history to our own servers.
We may update this Policy as the App evolves or laws change. Material changes will be communicated in-app or via the store listing. The latest version always shows the Effective date at the top.
