After the successful unification of the Stolen Lands by Baron Thastrid , the newly formed kingdom, as well as the kingdom of Brevoy, seem poised to exert themselves over the nearby lands. Baron Thastrid's rapid ascension caught everyone by surprise. While no one was startled that a dwarven fighter was able to overcome the many threats of the land, his skill at diplomacy and the network of friends he built, during his rise to power, was unanticipated. In a  short amount of time he unified disparate lands, ordered the creation of multiple towns, some of which developed into true cities. 

But they say, "No good deed goes unpunished." And now it is the "heroes" turn. From different places and with different goals, a group, unlike any other, seeks their own fortunes in this land of opportunities.
