This Privacy Policy describes how I, Nicolas Øbakke ('I', 'me', 'my'), handle information in connection with your use of the Countdown Timer Pro macOS application (the "App").
I am committed to protecting your privacy. My fundamental principle is straightforward:
1. No Data Collection
Countdown Timer Pro does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data or personally identifiable information from its users. The App is designed to function entirely on your device without needing access to, or sending out, any of your personal information.
2. Usage Data
The App does not collect any analytics or usage data. I do not track how you use the App.
3. Data Storage
Any settings or preferences you configure within Countdown Timer Pro (such as timer configurations) are stored locally on your own device using standard macOS storage mechanisms (e.g., UserDefaults and ApplicationSupport). This data resides solely on your computer and is never accessed, collected, or transmitted by me.
4. Third-Party Services
The App does not integrate with any third-party services for the purpose of collecting, tracking, or analyzing user data.
5. Children's Privacy
Since the App does not collect any personal data, it is inherently compliant with privacy regulations concerning children, such as the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). I do not knowingly collect any information from users, including children under the age of 13.
6. Changes to This Privacy Policy
I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in an updated version of the policy, which will be made available through the App's listing on the Mac App Store or within the App itself. I encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. The effective date at the top indicates the latest revision.
