a. Automatic Crash & Analytics Data
Crash Reporting: We use Firebase Crashlytics to collect anonymized crash reports and device information (e.g., OS version, device model) to diagnose and fix app issues.
Usage Analytics: We use Firebase Analytics to collect aggregated usage data (e.g., feature interactions, session duration) to improve app performance and user experience. This data is anonymized and cannot identify individual users.
User-Created Content (Local Data) The core functionality of the app allows you to track past and future events (Countups and Countdowns). All user-generated content - including event names, dates, times, and categories is stored securely and completely locally on your device's internal database. We do not collect, read, transmit, or store your event data on any remote servers.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
No Account or Registration: The App does not require you to create an account or provide personal details like your name, email, or address.
No Sensitive Tracking: We do not track or collect sensitive personal data.
3. Optional Permissions and Features
Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS): To alert you when a countdown finishes or to provide updates via app widgets.
Alarms & Reminders (SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM): To ensure your timer alerts trigger precisely at the scheduled date and time.
Internet Access (INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE): Used exclusively by our analytics and crash reporting tools to send diagnostic data.
4. Data Storage and Security
Because your event data is exclusively stored on your device, you have complete control over it. You can delete individual events within the app, or you can delete all your data simultaneously by clearing the app's data in your Android Settings or by uninstalling the app.
5. Third-Party Services
The App uses the following Google Firebase services:
Firebase Crashlytics: For crash reporting (anonymous data only).
Firebase Analytics: For aggregated usage statistics (anonymous data only).
These services adhere to Google’s data practices.
6. In-App Purchases
Payment Processing: All transactions are handled by the Google Play Store. We do not collect or store payment information. Review Google’s Privacy Policy for details on payment data.
