How to Apply for a Drivers License (DL) if your under 18 years old or 17 1/2
Option 1
1.You must be 15 ½, but under 18 years of age
2. You must first complete the requirements of your PROVISIONAL INSTRUCTION PERMIT! (This includes driver education and training)

4. Once you complete the requirements of the PROVISIONAL INSTRUCTION PERMIT, you are eligible to take your driving test (MAKE AN APPOINTMENT)!!
Option 2
1.If you are over 17 ½ years of age, you can get your instructional permit without the drivers Education training(needed for option 1)
2. Take the knowledge test, you must get 38 questions correct out of 46.
3. Take a vision exam
4. If you pass, a permit will be issued that allows you to drive with someone over 21 who is licenced, at all times. When you turn 18, you can take your driving test!
