Couch (and Living Room) Highlights

• With the curtains drawn, you're sleeping in a private space that's affordable and comfortable

  • Sleep on the couch or use a sleeping pad on the floor (I have sleeping pads)

  • Clean linens (unless you use your own camping gear)

  • One pillow per guest (unless you use your own camping gear)

  • Clean towels: Bath, hand, and wash cloth

  • A lightweight robe

  • Showering supplies (in bathroom)

  • Hair-styling accessories/tools

  • White noise maker
    
    

• Even More!

  • You even have full-blown TV access, with the full cable channel lineup, Chromecast, Roku!

  • High-speed wifi is included (of course)

  • Spread out your gear on the floor(s), to repack it just one more time!

    • Weight scale available, too (it's located in the half bath, around the corner from the living room)

Details About Sleeping on the Couch (in the Living Room)

• Curtains go down around 9:00 pm

  • Each night, I will set up the couch, with sheets, pillow, and blanket(s)
    
    

• Curtains come up around 9:00 am

  • Each morning, I will remove the bedding and store it in the living room
    
    

• Quiet time: 10:00 pm - 10:00 am 

  • All guests (AirBnB and Couch) are asked to be reasonably quiet

    • "Quiet Restaurant Voices" (versus "Crowded Restaurant Voices") 

    • TV volume low (TV headphones are also available, in bedrooms)
      
      

• No personal mini-fridge 

  • But most other guests are okay with sharing (if they're even using their fridge)
    
    

• No smoking inside or outside my home

  • There is a lovely spot, 500 feet away (at "The Bowl"), where you can smoke outside
    
    

• No pets

  • Shouldn't be an issue but I figured I'd mention it
    
    

• No drugs or hard drinking

  • Same thing as pets - shouldn't be an issue but I figured I'd mention it
    
    

• No parking (for vehicles)

  • If you rent a room, via AirBnB, you get free parking

• After years of hosting, I've figured out what guests need and have made sure guests enjoy their stay in my home :)
  
  

• My home is clean, close, and convenient to what hikers need... before (or after) heading out on the Colorado Trail

  • Washing machine available for use (small fee)

  • Full-kitchen available for use

  • Full bath is upstairs

  • Half-bath is on same floor as couch

  • Patio area, to lock your bike for those who are riding the trail
