The Cottondale Church of Christ began around approximately 1901. Until 1920, there was no building but it is assumed they used the old school building for a place of worship.
In 1920, a building was built on the present location. In 1956, a fire completely destroyed the building.
In 1957, a new building was built, and is the same building the church meets in today!
With the help of renovations along the way, Cottondale Church of Christ is still the place of worship for many families. A long line of generations have passed through those doors we walk through each Sunday!
