CostiBake Privacy Policy
CostiBake is a recipe and product cost calculator designed for bakers, pastry chefs, home bakers, and food businesses.
Information We Collect
CostiBake does not require users to create an account.
We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, precise location, contacts, payment information, or other personal information through the app.
Information Stored on the Device
Information entered into CostiBake, including ingredients, prices, recipes, labor costs, calculations, notes, and saved products, is stored locally on the user’s device.
CostiBake does not operate a user-account server or a cloud database for storing this information.
Files and Image Processing
Users may voluntarily select images, PDF files, documents, spreadsheets, or backup files for use within the app.
The app accesses only files that the user chooses.
Selected files are used for functions such as reading recipe information, recognizing ingredients, importing data, or restoring a backup.
These files and their contents are not uploaded to servers operated by the developer.
Backup and Restore
CostiBake may allow users to create and download a local JSON backup containing ingredients, prices, settings, and saved products.
The user is responsible for storing and protecting downloaded backup files.
Sharing and Selling of Data
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share users’ personal information or recipe data with advertisers or other third parties.
Data Deletion
Users may delete information from within the app by using the available delete or reset functions.
Uninstalling the app may also remove locally stored app data, depending on the device and operating-system settings.
Children’s Privacy
CostiBake is not designed to collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when the app’s features or legal requirements change. The updated date will appear at the top of this page.
