For frozen foods, the COSORI Air Fryer takes the top spot because its dedicated preset and rapid hot air circulation handle ice-crusted items with unmatched precision. The runner-up is the Cosori Pressure Cooker 6QT, which offers a distinct advantage for those who need to pressure cook large batches of meals from scratch in one go.
• COSORI Air Fryer — best for crispy frozen snacks and quick weeknight dinners; pick this if you want a dedicated appliance that turns frozen fries into golden perfection without the grease or mess of deep frying.
• Cosori Pressure Cooker 6QT — best for versatile multi-cooking and simultaneous boiling; pick this if you value the ability to pressure cook, steam, and boil water in separate units while keeping your counter organized.
• COSORI Pressure Cooker 6 — best for all-in-one meal prep with air frying capability; pick this if you need a single unit that handles both high-pressure cooking and rapid air roasting to save space on your countertop.
When I look at how we handle frozen foods in modern kitchens, the COSORI Air Fryer stands out as the most practical solution for getting that crispy texture without the health trade-offs of traditional oil. This isn't just a box that blows hot air; it is a specialized tool designed with specific presets that understand the physics of frozen ingredients. The "Frozen Foods" button is not a gimmick but a calibrated setting that manages the temperature ramp-up required to thaw and crisp an item simultaneously. This makes it ideal for anyone who wants fast, healthy meals without standing over the stove watching for burning spots.
The design focuses heavily on user experience, featuring a digital LED display and touch panel angled specifically so you do not have to bend down to check the time or change settings. For someone juggling multiple tasks in the kitchen, this ergonomic detail matters more than you might think. The unit includes ten one-touch presets covering everything from steak to shrimp, meaning you rarely have to guess at temperatures or times. It also features a shake reminder, a feature that ensures even cooking by prompting you to move food around the basket halfway through the cycle.
What truly separates this model is the accessory kit included right out of the box. You get a cake pan, pizza pan, metal holder, multi-purpose rack with skewers, a silicone mat, and an egg bites mold. These additions transform the device from a simple fryer into a full culinary station. You can bake a small cake or roast vegetables on skewers without needing to buy extra tools. The nonstick coating and dishwasher-safe parts mean cleanup is minimal, allowing you to focus on eating rather than scrubbing pans.
However, there is a trade-off to consider. This unit is strictly an air fryer. It cannot pressure cook rice, make stews, or slow-cook a pot roast. If your primary goal is a single machine that does everything from sous vide to pressure steaming, this will leave you wanting more functionality. But for the specific task of making frozen foods taste restaurant-quality, its focused approach delivers superior results compared to a generic multi-cooker trying to do too much.

The Cosori Pressure Cooker 6QT brings a different kind of power to the table, specifically designed for those who want speed combined with the versatility of a pressure cooker. This unit shines when you need to prepare hearty meals like stews, beans, or whole grains that require long simmering times but want them done in a fraction of the usual time. The 9-in-1 functionality covers pressure cooking, rice, steaming, stewing, sautéing, and even fermenting, making it a true workhorse for home cooks who prefer fresh ingredients over frozen shortcuts.
One of the standout features here is the stress-free venting system. The designers placed the Seal/Vent button away from the steam release valve and angled the release point backward. This is a critical safety and convenience feature that prevents steam burns and keeps your hands dry when you are ready to open the lid. Additionally, the real-time progress bar on the display allows you to monitor exactly where you are in the cooking cycle without having to guess. This visual cue provides peace of mind, ensuring you never undercook a tough cut of meat or overcook delicate vegetables.
This set also includes a stainless steel electric kettle, which adds significant value for households that drink a lot of tea or coffee. The kettle uses high-quality materials like borosilicate glass and 304 stainless steel to ensure pure-tasting water. Its wide opening makes cleaning residue or limescale incredibly easy, and the automatic shut-off plus boil-dry protection means you can fill it and walk away without worry. The combination of a robust pressure cooker and a reliable kettle creates a powerful duo for busy mornings and late-night meals alike.
The main compromise with this setup is that it requires two distinct appliances on your counter. While the pressure cooker itself is spacious enough for a family-sized portion, you must dedicate space for the kettle as well. Furthermore, the control interface relies on push buttons alongside the touch controller, which some users might find slightly less intuitive than a fully digital screen. Yet, for those who prioritize the depth of flavor that comes from pressure cooking and the utility of a dedicated kettle, the space taken up is a small price to pay for the performance.
The COSORI Pressure Cooker 6 represents a bold shift toward consolidation, merging the capabilities of a pressure cooker and an air fryer into a single footprint. This hybrid approach is perfect for the modern kitchen where counter space is at a premium but the demand for variety is high. By combining the TurboBlaze air frying technology with standard pressure cooking functions, this unit offers a 9-in-1 versatility that includes air frying, roasting, baking, broiling, dehydrating, and freezing, alongside the traditional pressure cooking modes. It is the choice for someone who wants to sear a chicken breast and then finish it with a roast function without switching machines.
The TurboBlaze air fryer component is particularly impressive due to its 5-speed airflow system. This ensures that heat circulates evenly throughout the cooking chamber, preventing cold spots and delivering consistent browning. The marketing notes that this motor-driven system cooks up to 46% faster than previous series models, which translates to significantly reduced wait times for dinner. Whether you are defrosting a frozen meal or proofing dough, the precision of the controls allows for professional-level results even for beginners. The glossy silver finish and fingerprint-resistant housing also help keep the appliance looking sleek amidst the chaos of daily cooking.
Cleaning is another area where this model excels. The widened pot gap and the fact that the lid, inner pot, and accessories are all dishwasher-safe remove the friction often associated with deep cleaning. The aluminum cooking pot features a ceramic hard nonstick coating that is BPA-free, providing a safe surface for cooking acidic foods or delicate fish without sticking. Step-by-step visual instructions are built into the workflow, guiding you through complex recipes so you don't need to consult external manuals constantly. This accessibility makes it an excellent entry point for new cooks who want to experiment with air frying and pressure cooking without a steep learning curve.
The trade-off here lies in the complexity of managing two different heating zones within one unit. While convenient, the dual-function nature means you are essentially managing two cooking environments, which can be overwhelming for those who prefer simplicity. Additionally, the capacity for air frying is naturally limited by the size of the air fryer basket attached to the pressure cooker base, which might not be sufficient for very large gatherings compared to a standalone air fryer. However, for average family meals where space saving and versatility are paramount, this balance is difficult to beat.
