When shopping for cosori deep fryers, the COSORI 5.8QT stands out as my top pick for its smart app connectivity and versatile 12-cooking functions. If you already own a TurboBlaze model, the Cosori Crisper Tray is the smarter choice to instantly upgrade your existing unit's crispiness.
• COSORI 5.8QT — best for tech-savvy cooks who want remote monitoring; pick this if you value app control and a built-in shake reminder for hands-free cooking.
• Cosori Crisper Tray — best for upgrading an existing TurboBlaze air fryer; pick this if you need a durable ceramic surface that fits perfectly to enhance air circulation.
• Cosori Cososi TurboBlaze Hot — best for those seeking a robust baking tray for larger 6-liter units; pick this if you prioritize metal durability and versatile grilling capabilities.
The COSORI 5.8QT is more than just a standard kitchen appliance; it is a connected cooking system designed for the modern home chef who wants precision without the hassle. This unit distinguishes itself immediately with its integration into the VeSync app, allowing you to monitor your meals remotely. Instead of standing over the machine waiting for a timer to go off, you can check on your progress from another room or even while you are out. This feature transforms the cooking experience from a chore into a seamless part of your daily routine, letting you focus on other tasks while the fryer does the heavy lifting.
What makes this model particularly compelling is the sheer number of ways you can customize your food. With twelve distinct cooking functions, including presets for everything from baking to keeping food warm, the versatility is unmatched. The inclusion of a preheat function ensures that your food hits the right temperature immediately, which is critical for achieving that perfect golden crust. Furthermore, the built-in shake reminder acts as a digital sous-chef, alerting you exactly when to toss your fries or chicken wings so they cook evenly on all sides. You never have to guess if it is time to flip anything again.
For the busy parent or professional, the ease of cleaning is a major selling point. The nonstick basket is dishwasher safe, meaning you do not have to scrub stubborn grease off after every meal. The removable rubber stopper adds a layer of user-friendliness, making it simple to insert and remove the basket without struggling with hot handles or awkward angles. The materials used are fully certified, BPA-free, and compliant with safety standards, giving peace of mind regarding what touches your food. It is a thoughtful design that prioritizes both safety and convenience.
However, there is a trade-off to consider with this advanced setup. Because this unit relies heavily on smart technology and app connectivity, it requires a stable Wi-Fi connection to unlock its full potential. If you prefer a completely analog experience where you turn a dial and walk away without needing a smartphone nearby, this might feel like too much complexity. Additionally, the reliance on the app means that if you lose internet access, some of the remote monitoring features will be unavailable, though the basic cooking functions should still work. I recommend this model specifically for those who embrace smart home ecosystems and want their appliances to talk to them.

The Cosori Crisper Tray is not a standalone appliance but rather a high-performance accessory designed specifically for owners of the Cosori TurboBlaze DC601 air fryer. Its primary purpose is to replace the standard rack with something superior, offering enhanced air circulation that leads to noticeably crispier results. If you find that your current batch of frozen fries or roasted vegetables isn't getting quite the texture you want, swapping in this tray is a straightforward fix. It is engineered to fit seamlessly into the unit, ensuring that the airflow dynamics remain optimized for the specific geometry of the TurboBlaze chamber.
Constructed with a ceramic coating, this tray brings a different level of durability and heat resistance compared to traditional metal racks. Ceramic surfaces are known for their ability to withstand high temperatures without warping or degrading over time, which translates to a longer lifespan for the accessory. The dark gray finish is not just aesthetic; it helps hide minor scuffs and wear, keeping the tray looking fresh even after frequent use. The non-stick properties mean that cheese, sauces, and batters release easily, reducing the need for excessive oil or harsh scrubbing pads during cleanup.
Versatility is another key strength of this component. While its main claim to fame is air frying, the tray is equally effective for baking, roasting, and grilling. This means you are not limited to just one type of meal preparation. Whether you are trying to bake a small dessert or grill some vegetables directly inside the fryer basket, the crisper tray provides a stable, flat surface that promotes even heating. The precise design ensures that it sits correctly within the unit, maintaining the same level of cooking performance as the original equipment but with improved results due to the better airflow management.
The main limitation here is that this product is strictly an accessory and cannot be used independently. You must already own a compatible TurboBlaze model to utilize it, which limits its appeal to a specific subset of customers. If you do not have the matching base unit, this tray is useless on its own. Furthermore, because it is a replacement part, you are relying on the compatibility being perfect. Fortunately, the specifications indicate a precise fit, but it is worth noting that this is a solution for existing users looking to upgrade, not a new purchase for someone starting from scratch. In my opinion, if you have the base machine, this is an essential upgrade that pays for itself in better-tasting food.
The Cosori Cososi TurboBlaze Hot represents a robust option for those who need a reliable baking tray for their 6-liter capacity units. Designed as an original accessory for the CAF-DC601-KEU model, this tray focuses on delivering consistent heat distribution across a slightly larger surface area than smaller counterparts. The black metal construction offers a sturdy foundation for cooking heavier items, such as whole chickens or large batches of cookies, without sagging or bending under the weight. It is a no-nonsense piece of hardware that prioritizes structural integrity and long-term reliability.
One of the standout features of this tray is its verified heat protection capabilities. By improving air circulation around the food, it ensures that heat reaches all parts of the dish evenly, preventing cold spots that often plague lower-quality racks. The non-stick coating is applied to facilitate easy cleaning, allowing you to wipe away residues quickly after a messy cooking session. This is particularly useful for sticky foods like glazed meats or caramelized fruits that tend to bond to metal surfaces. The dishwasher-safe nature of the tray further simplifies the post-meal cleanup process, saving you valuable time in the kitchen.
This accessory excels in scenarios where you need to maximize the volume of your air fryer. With a depth that accommodates taller items and a width suited for the 6-liter chamber, it opens up new culinary possibilities. You can grill vegetables, roast meats, or bake desserts with confidence that the tray will handle the task efficiently. The material choice of metal ensures that it conducts heat effectively, leading to faster cooking times and a more uniform finish on your food. It is a practical addition for anyone who frequently pushes their air fryer to its capacity limits.
The trade-off for this increased capacity and durability is the specific model requirement. Like the previous tray, this item is only compatible with the Cosori Cososi TurboBlaze Hot line. It will not fit into other models, regardless of size, due to the unique dimensions and mounting points of the CAF-DC601 series. Additionally, while the metal construction is durable, it may conduct heat differently than ceramic options, potentially affecting how certain delicate foods brown. However, for most home cooks looking to expand their menu within the 6-liter range, the benefits of the extra space and robust build outweigh these minor considerations. I suggest this for those who need a heavy-duty solution for larger meals.
