My statment to the world.
I began creating art as a way to unleash my creativity, drawing characters from television, comics, and magazines that sparked my imagination. Each page felt like stepping into their world—a feeling I strive to recreate for others through my work. Over time, I pushed past my perfectionist tendencies, learning to focus on growth, which allowed me to refine intricate poses, master detailed fantasy backgrounds, and accurately depict both male and female anatomy. My journey has also been shaped by personal loss and family challenges, including the death of my eldest brother, Jamal. His story inspired me to explore themes of resilience, heroism, and connection in my work. Currently, I’m developing my own comic, Hope, which draws from these experiences to tell meaningful stories and honor those who have shaped me. Through Hope and my commissions, I aim to create immersive worlds that not only captivate viewers but also resonate deeply, offering a sense of connection, inspiration, and the kind of heroism I wish I could have shared with my brother.
