About Moonshots '24
Moonshots ’24 is a project exploring cosmology and the space industry from new, and alternative perspectives. Over the course of 10 months, 100 teams of students will refine and develop an initial fantastical, science-fiction-like idea through events, meetings with assigned experts, workshops, and alongside the support of 100 actual astronauts! In the words of Moonshots themselves, “NL MOONSHOTS '24 challenges all Dutch students to think big. To think bigger than ever.”

About The Cosmic Integrationalists
Moonshots invites teams to submit their proposal under one of 5 categories: Earth, Human, (S}Tech, Dat/Ai, and Extraordinary.
Our team submitted our inceptual proposal under the theme “Extraordinary”. And as such The Cosmic Integrationalists became part of NL MOONSHOTS ‘24.
As Cosmic Integrationalists, we seek the dissolution of the dichotomous concepts of terrestrial and extra/trans-terrestrial. We aim to re-adjust our earth-bound frame of reference and remind people, “we are already in space,” as Miha Tursic reminded us. We feel space exploration over the last century has actually reinforced this conceptual barrier through language, esoterism, and artificial prestige. We seek to democratise space. We seek to remind the creatures of earth, we are all astronauts. We seek to integrate the cosmos with our daily lives.
