# Privacy Policy — Cosmic Horror
**Last updated:** November 2026
**Application:** Cosmic Horror (com.outer.invaders)
## 1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy applies to the mobile application Cosmic Horror (package name com.outer.invaders), a single-player arcade game for Android. The short version: nothing leaves your device, because nothing personal is ever collected.
## 2. Data Collection and Processing
Cosmic Horror does not collect, store, process, or transmit any personal data.
- No personal identifiers: no name, email, phone number, advertising ID, or device identifier is collected.
- No user accounts: the game requires no account, password, or sign-in.
- No telemetry or analytics: no third-party analytics, usage tracking, or crash-reporting service is integrated.
- No advertising: the game is free and contains no ads and no in-app purchases.
## 3. No Network Access (Internet)
Cosmic Horror functions 100% offline.
- No Internet permission: the app does not declare or use android.permission.INTERNET, and bundles no networking library.
- Technical guarantee: because Android grants the app no network access, no data can ever be sent to any server, cloud service, or third party. Everything happens on your device.
## 4. Local Data Storage
To make the game playable, Cosmic Horror saves a small amount of non-personal game progress on your device only, using Android's private app storage (SharedPreferences): your best score, the number of games played, the highest level reached, and an internal counter used to gently ease difficulty after repeated failures. This data is only a few numbers. It contains nothing that can identify you, never leaves your device, and is not shared with anyone. Uninstalling the app, or clearing its storage from Android settings, permanently deletes it.
## 5. Permissions
Cosmic Horror requests no sensitive permissions. It does not access your location, camera, microphone, contacts, files, or photos. Haptic feedback (vibration on impact) uses the system's standard feedback mechanism and requires no permission.
## 6. Third-Party Services and Libraries
Cosmic Horror only uses official AndroidX libraries provided by Google. No third-party SDK, ad network, tracking tool, or telemetry library is present. No third party receives any data from this app.
## 7. Children
Cosmic Horror collects no personal data from anyone, regardless of age. In line with the Google Play Families Policy and applicable regulations (COPPA, GDPR), it does not knowingly collect any data from children.
## 8. Your Rights
You retain complete control over the little data stored on your device. Right to erasure: you can erase all locally stored game progress at any time by clearing the app's storage in your device settings, or by uninstalling the app. Because no personal data is ever collected or transmitted, there is nothing held about you on any server.
## 9. Distribution Through Google Play
Cosmic Horror is distributed through Google Play. Google collects some information as part of distributing any app (installation statistics, crash reports if you chose to share diagnostics). This happens through the Play Store itself and is governed by Google's own privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
## 10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
If a future version ever collects or transmits data, this policy will be updated before that version is published, and the "Last updated" date will change.
