The Venue

The Raman Research Institute was founded in 1948 by the Indian physicist and Nobel Laureate, Sir C V Raman, to continue his studies and basic research after he retired from the Indian Institute of Science.

The institute is located in Sadashivanagar, in the heart of Bengaluru city amidst the traffic and chaos. Once entering the institute the lush greenery and peaceful surroundings would provide an escape from bustling city life thus making it an ideal place for conducting research.
