My lower eyelids were puffy and looked tired. After discussing the procedure and my concerns with Dr. Portuese, I made the decision to have surgery. It was done under general anesthesia, and I was very nervous the morning of my operation. Meeting with the anesthesiologist beforehand put me at ease. The surgery was over quickly and I was waking up in recovery with the nurses comforting me. As soon as I was awake and stable, I headed home to rest. I didn’t have much pain besides a little headache. My eyes healed quickly without any complications and faster than I expected! I was sure to follow the post-op instructions from the nurses and that definitely helped with the healing. One week later I was back to work with only slight bruising, that could be covered with make-up. Now I have fully healed and couldn’t be more pleased with the results. Thank you Dr. Portuese and wonderful staff for helping me through this experience!"
