Opera on schedule: Così fan tutte/Mozart

The course is intended for bachelor a/o master conductors (max. 4) and singers who are interested to work and deepen the musical study of the opera with the possibility of performing the pieces studied at the end of the course with a string quartet and piano.

Goals for conductors: first rudiments of opera conducting, recitativo accompagnato technique, study of the gesture - sound relationship, listen and breathe with the singer, manage and rehearse with the pianist and singers and with an ensemble.

Goals for singers: learn and perform a new role or part of it, work with an experienced conductor, understand the gesture of different conductors.

Goals for every participant: deepen the musical study of the opera and make the leap in quality from rehearsals to performance.

Schedule:

- Friday 22 October First meeting (18.00-21.00). All the conductors, singers and pianist. Introduction of the course.

- Friday 29 October (10.00-14.00) individual lessons, single conductor and pianist.

- Friday 5 November (10.00-14.00) individual lessons, single conductor, singers and pianist.

- Friday 12 November (18.00-21.00) conductors, singers and pianist.

- Saturday 13 November (11.00-15.00) conductors, singers and pianist.

- Friday 19 November (18.00-21.00): rehearsal with conductors, singers, pianist and string quartet.

- Saturday 20 November (11.00-15.00): rehearsal with conductors, singers, pianist and string quartet.

- Sunday 21 November (12.00-15.00): rehearsal with conductors, singers, pianist and string quartet.

- Monday 22 November (16.00-19.00) rehearsal and musical performance (19.30-21.30) of the chosen pieces, as end of the course and presentation of the work done.
