Goals
Identify strategies young people are using to navigate needs for housing security while maintaining their relationships with pets.
Assess how current policies, practices, beliefs, and contextual constraints in housing service systems influence young people’s relationships with pets.
Assess the facilitators and barriers to implementing a recently proposed Framework for supporting unhoused youth with pets in urban centers in Colorado (Kerman et al. 2020).
