4-H PROJECT LEADER
A 4-H Project Leader is an adult volunteer who guides and supports 4-H members in learning specific skills related to their project area while fostering a positive and encouraging environment. They serve as teachers, mentors, and role models by helping youth set goals, develop responsibility, and gain leadership experience. Project Leaders advise members and parents about opportunities to showcase their work, assist with project materials and records, and coordinate with Extension professionals to ensure meaningful educational experiences. This volunteer role requires a commitment of time and training, but offers the rewarding opportunity to positively impact youth growth and development while building strong relationships within the 4-H community.
