The Coryell County 4-H Adult Leader Association is a dedicated group of volunteers who play a vital role in supporting the Coryell County 4-H program. These leaders guide youth in a variety of projects, provide training, and promote the mission of 4-H while working closely with the county’s AgriLife Extension staff to help young people build leadership, citizenship, and life skills.
In addition to mentoring, the Adult Leader Association oversees the Coryell County 4-H budget and actively raises funds to support 4-H members. Each year, the association votes to reduce financial barriers for families by covering costs such as County and District 4-H contest fees, Texas 4-H Roundup registration and lodging, Summer 4-H County Camp expenses, and even National and International travel opportunities.
Through their leadership, commitment, and generosity, the Adult Leader Association ensures that every 4-H member has the chance to learn, grow, and thrive.
The Coryell County 4-H Adult Leaders meet quarterly, with occasional pop-up meetings scheduled as needed. Within the association, committees such as the Finance Committee, Banquet Committee, and others are formed on an as-needed basis to help carry out specific responsibilities and events.
