I’m from outside DC and currently live in New York City. I spent seven years as a management consultant focused on healthcare before jumping into health tech. I’m mission driven to improve the healthcare system one small step at a time after family and personal health issues led me to really feel how troubled our system is.
I love coffee, beer, hockey, history, science, history of science, planes, trains, and automobiles. I’m doing everything I can to keep this website professional, but truthfully, I’m quite a goofball. We can make your application process fun!
Here is the ‘about me’ paper stuff – I attended HBS.
Why am I qualified to help you?
I fell within the typical “white male consultant” applicant bucket but was still able to differentiate myself enough to get admitted to three of the top-five MBA programs (one with a full scholarship).
More than my accomplishments, it was the way I told my story that allowed me to stand out. I have replicated this method to help numerous applicants with diverse personal and professional backgrounds shape their stories and prepare for interviews. More than 90% of my clients have been admitted to top-five MBA programs.
Both of my parents spent their careers professionally writing in various capacities… learning how to write was a mandatory part of both my education and my upbringing.
Why am
I here?
This is fun for me! I was a psych major in college for a reason - I love learning about people’s lives and unearthing deeper motivations.
I enjoy helping people, especially those who are looking to make a positive difference in the world. A top tier MBA is a big step in that direction for many.
Shaping stories is an invigorating challenge in its own right, but helping others with their unique narratives is my way of following in my parents' footsteps.
