I am an applied microeconomist interested in consumer finance, public economics and policy evaluation.
I work as an Economist in the Office of Research at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), where I focus primarily on Buy Now, Pay Later and other digital payment applications, alternative financial services and risk monitoring of vulnerable households. Previously, I was a post-doctoral researcher at the Center for Economic Behavior and Inequality (CEBI) at the University of Copenhagen and I completed my Ph.D. in Economics at the Free University Berlin and the DIW Berlin Graduate Center.
