Corsicana HS Wind Symphony (Varsity) secures first Sweepstakes award since 2015!
The Corsicana High School Wind Symphony performed at UIL Concert and Sight-reading on April 7th. They received a Superior Rating (1) on Stage AND in Sight-Reading. This, along with the 1st division rating from marching band, allowed the band to secure their first Class A Sweepstakes Award since 2015. The hard work of the students and staff paid off this year! Let's turn this into a tradition of EXCELLENCE!
NTCA WINTER GUARD CHAMPIONSHIPS - MARCUS HS, FLOWER MOUND
The Corsicana Winter Guard competed in class RAA at Championships in Flower Mound. The team finished 5th place in their round and 17th out of 57 total RAA Winter Guards. Congratulations CCG!
2026 MIDDLE SCHOOL ALL REGION JAZZ BAND RESULTS
We are so proud of All of our students who participated in the All-Region Audition Wednesday, Feb. 4th. We had 12 Students audition and only had one make the All-Region Jazz Band with 1 Alternate. Our Middle School students have never auditioned for this honor and it is a very tough competition.
2025 MIDDLE SCHOOL ALL REGION BAND RESULTS
We are so proud of All of our students who participated in the All-Region Audition Saturday. We had 14 Students make the All-Region Band with 2 Alternate Students. This is an Increase from 7 Students with 3 Alternates from the previous school year. Corsicana Middle School now has the 3rd Largest percentage of students that are part of the All-Region Band, beating out 8 other schools.

THINGS TO KNOW
Dress Smart: SHORTS SHORTS SHORTS! If you show up in pants or jeans, I will send you home. This summer is anticipated to be the hottest on record. Be smart!
HYDRATE: Drink water constantly. One gallon a day or more. When you are on the field, desperately drinking water to feel better, remember that the water you drink TODAY hydrates you for TOMORROW. Be PROACTIVE!
ATHLETIC SHOES: Athletic fits shoes with ankle support are required for all marching rehearsals. Crocs, flip flops, sandals, Converse, Skater Shoes... these are NOT appropriate for outdoor rehearsal.
PHYSICAL: All students are required to complete a physical and provide me with a copy upon completion. I will send home forms with every students before the end of the year. These can be completed and returned to me at ANY time. I MUST have ALL physicals completed before August 1st.
