CORRO Teleprompter ("we", "our", or "the App") is developed and operated by an independent developer. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our Android application.

 

1. INFORMATION WE DO NOT COLLECT

 

CORRO Teleprompter is designed with privacy as a core principle. The App:

 

- Does NOT collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers

- Does NOT require user registration or account creation

- Does NOT access your contacts, call logs, SMS, or location

- Does NOT use analytics or tracking tools

- Does NOT share any data with third parties for advertising profiling purposes

 

All scripts, text files, and video recordings created within the App remain exclusively on your device. We have no access to this content.

 

2. DEVICE PERMISSIONS

 

The App requests the following device permissions solely for core functionality:

 

- Camera: Required to record video while reading the teleprompter script. Camera data is processed locally on your device and is never transmitted externally.

- Microphone: Required for Voice Activity Detection (VAD), which automatically pauses and resumes the teleprompter based on your speech. Audio data is processed in real-time on your device and is not recorded separately or transmitted.

- Storage: Required to save recorded videos to your device gallery. The App only writes to the designated media directory and does not read or access other files on your device.

 

These permissions are requested at runtime and can be revoked at any time through your device's Settings.

 

3. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

 

The App integrates the following third-party services, each of which may collect certain data as described in their respective privacy policies:

 

a) Google AdMob (Rewarded Advertisements)

The App displays optional rewarded video advertisements through Google AdMob. When you choose to watch an ad, AdMob may collect device identifiers, IP address, and interaction data for ad delivery and measurement purposes. You are never required to watch ads; this is entirely optional.

b) Google Play Billing (In-App Purchases)

The App offers an optional one-time purchase to remove usage limits. Purchase transactions are processed entirely by Google Play. We do not collect, process, or store any payment information, credit card numbers, or financial data. All billing is handled by Google.

4. DATA STORAGE AND SECURITY

 

- All user-created content (scripts, recordings) is stored locally on your device's internal storage.

- App preferences and settings are stored using Android SharedPreferences, encrypted where supported via AndroidX Security Crypto library.

- No data is transmitted to any external server, cloud service, or third-party storage.

- We do not maintain any databases, servers, or cloud infrastructure that stores user data.

 

5. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

 

CORRO Teleprompter is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. The App does not contain any content that is inappropriate for general audiences.

 

6. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION

 

Since all data is stored locally on your device:

- You can delete any script or recording at any time from within the App.

- Uninstalling the App permanently removes all associated data from your device.

- We retain no data on any server, so there is nothing for us to delete on our end.

 

7. INTERNATIONAL USERS

 

The App is available in 14 languages and may be used worldwide. Regardless of your location, no personal data is transmitted from your device. Third-party services (Google AdMob, Google Play Billing) may process data in accordance with their own international data transfer policies.

 

8. YOUR RIGHTS

 

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights under applicable data protection laws (such as GDPR, CCPA, KVKK, or similar legislation). Since we do not collect or process personal data, these rights are inherently satisfied.
