Ms. Jean, a math and AVID teacher at Correia Middle, has always wanted to teach. She has been teaching over 20 years and earned the 2016 San Diego Middle School Teacher of the Year Award.

Ms. Jean likes to create positive relationships with her students and having easy access to help. One of her favorite teaching moments is when kids finally understand the topic. Over her twenty years of teaching, she has spent 15 years teaching at Corriea.
