The King

The King

By Harrison S.

The greediness of society had led to the end that was long foreseen. With this came the inescapable thing: death, something so undermined by people. Money and the sins of society had been what was most treasured by people and always will continue to be. The one hope, Princess Diana, was the closest solution that humankind had to continue on in life. She was the only person that really didn’t put her personal needs first, but instead the needs of others. The father of Princess Diana had thought otherwise and despised all that was lesser than he was. You would never see someone who does such cruel and gruesome things to only fit his needs. Death had started to take a toll on him and all others in his kingdom. So, what did he do to escape Death?

The King had thought of what seemed like the solution to his problem. He killed all of his servants, even the most valued, and something that was so shunned upon he did. The King tried to kill his own daughter who he thought was too decent and pure. What may have happened to her you may ask? Dresses that were sown to perfection that not one single stitching was different, and designed so elegantly that an angel would wear it. In her sleep, she had had a dream unlike any other that she had had before. There did not seem to be anything good what so ever about this dream. She had been sleeping for about an hour and was just reaching the point in which you really start to dream. She saw a bright light come down that was so bright you thought that the sun was dull. Then, a person with wings came down that was glowing with a beauty that was undefinable. Almost some sort of angel from heaven was being sent down to tell her something. The angel said,” Princess Diana you are to be killed upon by your own father, and has already shed the blood of all of his acquaintances in the kingdom. If you are to wake up now you may be able to escape his wrath and survive.” Then Princess Diana woke up in a gasp thinking of what to do. She realized that she had to hurry down the marble staircase and just try to get out of the magnificent jewel crust front door that was mostly gold in which had been melted down to form it. Hurriedly she got out of her silk covered be and ran to one of her many doors when her father the King bumped right into her. The princess ran...
