What We Do

The department operates through three specialised units, each with its defined mandate:

2.1 Corporate Communications Unit

• Strengthen STDC’s visibility and reputation through media relations, branding, and digital engagement.

• Manage internal and external communication, ensuring clear, professional, and consistent messages.

• Develop campaigns, press releases, and creative content that reflect STDC’s identity.

• Act as the custodian of STDC’s brand, logo, and corporate image.
  
  

2.2 Quality Assurance Unit

• Ensure all programmes, training, and operations meet established standards (MQA, DSD, COPTPA, ISO).

• Coordinate audits, accreditations, and compliance reviews to guarantee excellence.

• Drive a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within STDC.

• Develop policies and SOPs for maintaining quality consistency across departments.
  
  

2.3 Strategic Planning & Business Development Unit

• Formulate STDC’s mid- and long-term strategic plans aligned with state and national agendas.

• Explore and develop partnerships with industry, government agencies, and international organisations.

• Identify new business opportunities, CSR collaborations, and revenue-generating initiatives.

• Provide market intelligence and policy analysis to guide STDC’s growth direction.
