Welcome to Tawny owl box 1 where over the last 3 years it has been a massive hit with our live stream in 2021 reaching 100,000 views! This box was put up in May 2020 and started attracted a pair of owl that look very interested to nest. Through out the years we have had Tawny owl trying to nest, jackdaws fighting with squirrels. However it wasn't till early 2022 where we had Thomas and Luna our resident tawny owls taken a immediate interest in the box and soon after they had one egg. Sadly soon after for some reason she left the egg and then the jackdaws took over. However early April a baby tawny owl appeared on the external camera of the box where they had nested close by in a tree. We really hope you enjoy this box and we are hopeful for next season for them to nest here.

Welcome to Tawny owl box 2. Like box 1 this one is designed for tawny owls and is the chimney style box which is supposed to attract the owls more. This box was an idea back in 2022 when we had the tawny owls nesting but the jackdaws were being persistent and disturbing the tawnies. So i decided to build another thinking that it was stop the conflict. Did it? Err no we just ened up with a second pair of jackdaws in it later in the year. However the tawny owls did take a liking to this box  but ended up nesting in a tree else where nearby. So we hope you enjoy watching this stream
