My passion for photography began in 2013 during a trip to the colorful landscapes of Colorado. At the time, I was working at Wells Fargo and shared some of my photos with my boss via email. Upon returning to work, I was surprised to find that my images had been printed and displayed on my desk for my colleagues to see. Many assumed I had used a professional-grade camera, but in reality, I had captured those moments with my mobile phone. Their enthusiastic feedback inspired me to invest in my first professional camera.​

This investment marked the beginning of my journey into photography. While I didn't formalize it as a business, friends and family knew they could rely on me for their photography needs. My first session was nerve-wracking, and I faced challenges with exposure settings. Thankfully, I managed to deliver enough quality photos to satisfy my clients, all for a modest fee of $35! (oh the days). The joy of capturing meaningful moments far outweighed any monetary gain.​

As time progressed, I took on more significant projects, including multiple weddings, family portraits, and, notably, senior pictures. Collaborating with my cousin, we launched Unreel Photography, where I continue to serve as the primary photographer. However, my aspirations led me to explore new avenues. This ambition gave birth to Cornerstone Aerial & Visuals in March 2025, a venture focused on real estate photography. Equipped with the necessary tools, I'm currently preparing for my Part 107 License to legally operate drones for commercial purposes. I'm eager to see how dedication and vision will shape the future of Cornerstone.​

Community involvement holds a special place in my heart. I cherish contributing to Indianola's vibrant community by volunteering with the Indianola Freedom Fellowship Church during their community meals at The Lighthouse every Tuesday evening. Indianola is not just my residence; it's a town rich with traditions and warm-hearted individuals. Events like the National Balloon Classic, where over 100 hot air balloons grace our skies, exemplify the town's unique charm. ​

My goal is to assist the wonderful people of Iowa in finding their perfect homes by providing exceptional photography and videography services. Whether it's a family's first home purchase or transitioning from a previous residence, I aim to support real estate agents and the families they serve during these significant moments.
