At Cornerstone Schoolhouse, our mission is to offer a Christian, student-focused microschool experience. We provide individualized instruction in core subjects such as reading, math, science, and social studies, while fostering character, faith, and a love of learning. Our small class sizes and dedicated educators ensure that every child can thrive academically, socially, and spiritually.
The Cornerstone Experience is hands-on, heart-first learning in a nurturing, faith-based environment. With small classes and teachers bringing years of experience, children explore God’s creation alongside our friendly dogs, chickens, and ducks, enjoy active outdoor play on our structures, and engage with sensory bins, planned field trips, and enriching activities. We believe in active kids—not sedentary ones—while ensuring a strong foundation in the 3 Rs. At Cornerstone, learning is joyful, curious, and full of wonder every day.
Students will help care for chicks and ducks as part of learning responsibility and teamwork. From feeding to observing their growth, children experience the joy of hands-on learning while practicing stewardship of God’s creation with gratitude and wonder.
Our fenced front yard play space is one of our main outdoor areas, where students enjoy meals, sensory play, and free exploration. With a small play structure and rotating activities, this space offers a safe and engaging environment for daily outdoor learning and fun.
Our founder, Mrs. Coleman, holds a bachelor’s degree in history and religion and has years of experience teaching students in core academic subjects within the private school sector. At Cornerstone Schoolhouse, we are passionate about providing personalized, Christ-centered instruction in a small, supportive learning environment.
An Education Savings Account (ESA) is a simple and powerful way to fund your child’s private school education. In Arizona, most families who meet the basic eligibility—your child not currently enrolled in a public or charter school—are approved quickly, making the process easy and stress-free. ESA funds can cover tuition and other educational expenses, giving your child the opportunity to learn in a nurturing, faith-based, and hands-on environment like Cornerstone Schoolhouse.
Tuition at Cornerstone Schoolhouse is $1,125 per school-year quarter, totaling $4,500 for the full year—a very competitive rate for small, faith-based classes led by experienced teachers. Optional summer sessions are available for the same rate, and optional extended hours can accommodate busy family schedules. At Cornerstone, your investment goes far beyond tuition—it’s a rich, engaging, and faith-centered experience that helps your child grow in curiosity, responsibility, and joy.
