We collect gently used clothing for families in our community. Drop-off is at the building on drive weekends. For the next drive date, or to help sort and distribute, speak to one of the elders on a Sunday.
Many of our leaders and members volunteer and give each year to help run Camp Smiling Acres in Greensburg, Louisiana. Since 1968 the camp has offered weeklong sessions of Bible study, devotionals, swimming and sports for pre-teens and teens.
We support Berean Children's Home near Brookhaven, Mississippi, which gives children in foster care a safe, family-like home.
We send funds to Churches of Christ Disaster Relief Effort, a separate nonprofit based in Nashville, Tennessee. When a major disaster strikes in the U.S., it sends truckloads of food, water, cleaning and other supplies to a local church of Christ, which hands them out to people in the area.
We support World Christian Broadcasting in Franklin, Tennessee. Its shortwave stations in Alaska and Madagascar, along with online programs in seven languages, carry the gospel to people who might otherwise never hear it.
We support Iron Rose Sister Ministries in Searcy, Arkansas, which equips women to connect to God and one another more deeply through Bible studies, ladies' days and retreats in English and Spanish.
We pray for and support our brothers and sisters in the churches of Christ in Venezuela. Updates are shared in the Sunday bulletin.
