Submissions

Submission website: https://cmt3.research.microsoft.com/SMAI2022/Submission/Index

The workshop welcomes short papers (maximum 4 pages, excluding references) with theory, applications, or attempts to improve efficiency in existing modeling techniques as well as novel techniques. Please format submissions in CoRL paper format using anonymous double-blind submission standards (more information and a template can be acquired at https://www.dropbox.com/s/i3lsbqe4m678wbt/CoRL2022_template.zip?dl=1).

Every submission will receive at least two reviews, and will be judged according to topical relevance, significance of the contribution, technical quality, and clarity of presentation.

Submissions sent to other conferences are allowed. It is the responsibility of the authors to ensure that those venues allow for papers submitted to be already published in "informal" ways (e.g. on proceedings or websites without associated ISSN/ISBN).

The workshop is meant to be an open and inclusive forum, and we encourage papers that report on work in progress or that do not fit the mold of a typical conference paper. Non-trivial negative results are welcome to the workshop, but we expect the authors to argue for the significance of the presented results to alternative lines of research on the topic of choice.

Accepted papers will be available online and presented as contributed talks and/or posters depending on the number of submissions. In person attendance is preferred: we will reserve a fraction of the acceptance slots for authors that can present a poster in person, and will allow the remainder to present virtually. Authors will be asked about their attendance plans at submission time.
