Introduction

With 15 years of experience in education, I have dedicated my career to fostering equitable learning environments that support all students—ranging from English Language Learners (ELLs) and Special Education students to Advanced Placement (AP) and General Education learners. My journey began in East New York, Brooklyn, where I developed a deep commitment to ensuring that rigorous, grade-level curriculum is accessible to every student. Since then, I have worked with learners from sixth grade through adulthood, serving in both urban and suburban schools as an English as a New Language (ENL) and English Language Arts (ELA) educator. Currently, I am the ENL leader at E.W. Miles Middle School, where I continue to champion student achievement through innovation, collaboration, and instructional leadership.

In every role I have held, I have been drawn to leadership—whether through formal appointments or voluntary initiatives. My approach is data-driven and solution-oriented, with a passion for professional growth, problem-solving, and continuous progress. I believe in empowering educators to evolve with advancements in technology and mental health initiatives, embracing creativity, experimentation, and a fearless approach to new strategies. My current interests include integrating artificial intelligence (AI) in education and incorporating mindfulness and movement into the classroom to enhance student success.

Beyond my professional life, I am a dedicated mother, wife, dog lover, and fitness coach. My lifelong love for learning and growth mindset fuel my work both inside and outside the classroom. As an educational leader, I am committed to supporting teachers and students in navigating the evolving landscape of education, ensuring they have the tools, confidence, and resilience to thrive.
