Corina Martin-Iordache

Corina Martin-Iordache has worked as an educator teaching English and French at all levels of the public education system. In 2001 she completed a Ph.D. in Comparative Literature at the University of Toronto with a thesis entitled Modernism, Postcolonialism and the Experience of Place: a Study of Samuel Beckett and Derek Walcott. She has published articles on cultural issues in The Centennial Review, The Dalhousie Review and The Journal of European Studies. In 2012 she received an Award for Excellence in Education from the Toronto District School Board. In 2021 she published Education with Meaning: A Teacher’s Journal from the Years of the Covid-19 Pandemic 2019-2021. In 2026 she published a novel entitled The Playhouse. She lives in Toronto, Canada.
