What we store

• CoreOBD has no user account and no sign-in.

• The app stores only your settings (theme, adapter host/port, connection type, expert mode, Pro status) LOCALLY on your device. Nothing is uploaded to us or any server.

Vehicle & diagnostic data

• When you connect to a Wi-Fi OBD2 adapter, the app reads standard diagnostic data (VIN, live sensor values, trouble codes, calibration and control-module info) directly from your car.

• This data is processed on your device and shown to you only. It is never sent to us or any third party, and it is not saved after you disconnect. The app only reads data — it never modifies or reprograms your vehicle.

Advertising (free version)

• The free version shows ads via Google AdMob, which may process device identifiers and usage data to serve and measure ads. In the EEA/UK you are asked for consent before any personalised ad is loaded. Buying Pro removes all ads.

Purchases

• If you buy the optional one-time Pro version, it is processed by Google Play Billing; we do not receive your payment details.

Permissions

• Internet and Wi-Fi/network state are used only to connect to your OBD2 adapter's local Wi-Fi (and by the ad service). The app requests no location, camera, contacts or storage access.

Your control

• You can reset your settings under Settings › Reset settings, and manage ad consent in the app. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data. As we hold no data on any server, there is nothing for us to delete.
