CoreClean Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of CoreClean (the "App", "CoreClean", "we", "us", or "our"), package name com.coreclean.storage.ram.booster, including any related features, services, and functionality provided through the App.

By installing, accessing, or using CoreClean, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. About CoreClean

CoreClean is a Tools / Productivity app designed to help users understand device storage usage, review potential junk files, manage unused apps, view device/network information, and perform user-approved cleanup actions.

CoreClean is not an antivirus product, security scanner, malware removal tool, or guaranteed performance booster. Any cleanup, storage, RAM, or device optimization feature is intended to provide information and user-controlled actions only.

2. Eligibility

You may use CoreClean only if you are legally permitted to do so in your country or region. If you are under the age required by applicable law to consent to these Terms, you may use the App only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

3. Your Relationship With Us

These Terms create a direct agreement between you and the operator of CoreClean. They do not create any employment, partnership, agency, joint venture, or franchise relationship.

You are responsible for your use of the App and for any actions you choose to take through the App, including selecting files to delete or apps to stop or uninstall.

4. Core Functionality

CoreClean may provide features including, but not limited to:

• Storage scanning and cleanup suggestions;

• Detection of empty folders, residual files, thumbnails, old downloads, app cache candidates, and orphaned files left behind by uninstalled apps;

• App Overview features showing installed apps, storage usage, usage signals, and unused app indicators;

• Network information and Wi-Fi diagnostic display;

• Device health, battery, RAM, and storage information;

• Optional background or scheduled cleanup-related functionality where enabled by the user.

All cleanup decisions remain under your control. CoreClean does not delete files unless you explicitly select items and confirm the cleanup action.

5. User-Controlled File Deletion

CoreClean may identify files or folders that appear to be unnecessary, temporary, residual, duplicated, empty, or old. These suggestions are provided for your review.

You understand and agree that:

• Files are not automatically deleted by default;

• Items shown after a scan are presented for your review;

• You are responsible for selecting which files, if any, to delete;

• Deleted files may not be recoverable;

• You should review all selected items carefully before confirming deletion;

• CoreClean is not responsible for files you choose to delete.

CoreClean is designed so that deletion is triggered only after an explicit user action, such as tapping a "Clean" button after reviewing selected items.

6. Android Permissions and Sensitive Access

CoreClean may request certain Android permissions to provide its core features. Permission access is used only for the purposes described below. Where Android requires user approval through system settings, you must grant the permission yourself; CoreClean cannot grant those permissions automatically.

CoreClean is designed to use sensitive permissions consistently with applicable Google Play and Android developer guidance. We provide permission explanations in plain language before directing users to Android system settings where required.

6.1 All Files Access / MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE

CoreClean may request All Files Access to scan shared storage for junk candidates that cannot be fully detected through standard media-only APIs.

This permission may be used to:

1. Enumerate potential junk files across shared storage;

2. Detect empty folders, thumbnails, old downloads, log files, .nomedia folders, and leftover files from uninstalled apps;

3. Display those items for user review;

4. Delete only the files or folders that you explicitly select and confirm.

CoreClean uses this permission because Android MediaStore generally exposes only managed media collections, and the Storage Access Framework may require manual folder-by-folder access that is not practical for a whole-device cleaner.

This use is intended to align with Google Play's All Files Access policy and Android's developer guidance for apps whose core functionality requires broad file access, such as file management, on-device file search, storage cleanup, and similar user-facing storage tools.

CoreClean does not use All Files Access to upload your files, read private app data outside permitted shared storage, silently delete files, or delete files without your review and confirmation.

Prominent disclosure shown before requesting this permission may include substantially the following message:

To find junk files left by uninstalled apps and empty folders, CoreClean needs permission to access all files on your device. All scanning happens locally on your device — no files are uploaded anywhere. You'll always review the list of files before anything is deleted.

6.2 Installed Apps Access / QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES

CoreClean may request access to query installed apps to support the App Overview feature. This allows CoreClean to show a list of installed apps so you can understand app storage usage and identify apps that may be unused or consuming significant storage.

This permission is used only for user-facing app visibility and storage-management functionality, and is intended to comply with Google Play's policy for broad package visibility.

This permission may be used to display:

• Installed apps on your device;

• Approximate app storage usage;

• App, data, and cache size information where available;

• Installed app versus system app segmentation;

• Signals that help you identify unused apps.

CoreClean does not use this permission to detect competitor apps, profile you across apps, scan the code or contents of other apps, detect ad SDKs, identify security threats, or transmit your installed-app list to any server.

6.3 Usage Access / PACKAGE_USAGE_STATS

CoreClean may ask you to enable Usage Access in Android system settings for features such as:

1. Showing per-app storage breakdown using Android storage statistics APIs;

2. Identifying apps that appear unused, such as apps not opened for 30 or more days.

Usage Access data is processed on your device. CoreClean does not transmit your usage history, per-app usage signals, package names, or app storage details to any server.

Android treats Usage Access as a special user-controlled access setting. The user must enable it through Android system settings; CoreClean cannot enable it automatically.

If you do not grant Usage Access, certain app size, data size, cache size, or unused-app indicators may be unavailable or may use limited fallback information.

6.4 Location Permission / ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION

On some Android versions, access to the connected Wi-Fi SSID or BSSID requires location permission. CoreClean may request location permission only to display Wi-Fi network information for network diagnostics.

CoreClean does not use this permission for GPS tracking, map features, geolocation-based services, background location tracking, or location advertising. CoreClean does not access or transmit precise location coordinates for this feature.

You may skip this permission. Other CoreClean features will continue to function, although Wi-Fi name or network diagnostic details may be limited.

6.5 Ignore Battery Optimizations / REQUEST_IGNORE_BATTERY_OPTIMIZATIONS

CoreClean may optionally ask you to whitelist the App from Android battery optimizations so that user-enabled background or scheduled cleanup-related tasks can complete more reliably.

This permission is optional and off by default. Before the Android system dialog is invoked, CoreClean will explain the purpose and trade-off of allowing the App to run with fewer battery restrictions.

6.6 Kill Background Processes / KILL_BACKGROUND_PROCESSES

CoreClean may use this permission only when you explicitly tap an action such as "stop app" for a specific app in the App Overview screen.

CoreClean does not silently kill apps, perform scheduled bulk app killing, or stop background processes without your user-initiated action.

7. On-Device Processing and Data Safety

CoreClean is designed to process cleanup and diagnostic information on your device.

Unless a separate notice clearly states otherwise, CoreClean does not collect, upload, sell, or share:

• Your files;

• File contents;

• File paths or file metadata;

• Installed-app lists;

• Package names;

• App usage statistics;

• Wi-Fi SSID or BSSID;

• Precise location coordinates;

• Cleanup scan results.

Certain information may be displayed locally within the App so you can decide what action to take. For example, CoreClean may process file names, paths, sizes, dates, app storage usage, and Wi-Fi network names locally on your device.

8. No Ads or Analytics in Current Release

In the current release described by these Terms, CoreClean does not use advertising SDKs or analytics SDKs and does not collect or share user data for advertising or analytics purposes.

If this changes in a future release, we will update our disclosures, privacy-related notices, and applicable store declarations as required.

9. User Responsibilities

You agree that you will not:

• Use CoreClean for any unlawful purpose;

• Attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or interfere with the App except where allowed by law;

• Use the App to damage, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to any device, system, or data;

• Misrepresent CoreClean or its functionality;

• Use automated methods to abuse the App or related systems.

You are responsible for maintaining backups of important files. Before deleting files, you should confirm that the files are not needed.

10. Third-Party Services and Android System Settings

CoreClean may open Android system settings screens so you can grant or manage permissions, usage access, app details, uninstall actions, battery optimization settings, or other device controls.

These system screens are provided by Android or your device manufacturer. CoreClean does not control Android system settings, permission wording, device manufacturer behavior, or operating system restrictions.

CoreClean may also display links or references to third-party services, websites, or system components. We are not responsible for third-party content, services, policies, or practices.

11. Disclaimers

CoreClean is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, reliability, availability, and error-free operation.

We do not guarantee that:

• Any amount of storage will be recovered;

• Device speed, RAM, battery life, or performance will improve;

• Any file identified as junk is safe for every user to delete;

• App usage or storage information will always be complete or accurate;

• The App will operate without interruption or error on every device, Android version, or manufacturer build.

CoreClean does not make scareware claims, infection claims, or guaranteed performance improvement claims.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, CoreClean and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, files, profits, revenue, goodwill, or device functionality arising from or related to your use of the App.

This includes, without limitation, loss resulting from files you choose to delete, apps you choose to stop or uninstall, permissions you choose to grant, or settings you choose to modify.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

13. Changes to the App or Terms

We may update CoreClean or these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we may provide notice through the App, app store listing, or other reasonable means.

Your continued use of CoreClean after an update means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you should stop using the App and uninstall it.

14. Termination

You may stop using CoreClean at any time by uninstalling the App.

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to any related services if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, created risk, or used the App unlawfully.

15. Governing Law

These Terms will be governed by applicable law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country or region require otherwise.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.

17. Privacy Reference

Because CoreClean processes cleanup, app overview, usage, and network diagnostic information locally on your device, you should also review any separate Privacy Policy provided for CoreClean. If there is any conflict between these Terms and a separate Privacy Policy about how data is handled, the Privacy Policy controls for privacy-specific matters.
