His educational path began at St. Anne's and Monsignor Kelly Catholic High Schools in Beaumont, renowned Catholic establishments. This period was a whirlwind of extracurriculars, athletics, and community immersion, fostering a multifaceted individual.
He then transitioned to Texas State University in San Marcos, majoring in Finance and Management and minoring in Economics. His campus life was enriched by his active involvement in student governance, serving as a state senator, and holding numerous roles in the Delta Tau Delta Fraternity.
His life extends beyond academics and business. He is deeply committed to community service and philanthropy. His volunteering resume boasts associations with the Wounded Warrior Project and Bobcat Build over several years.
Cornwell's significantly contributed to Mobile Loaves & Fishes, supporting people experiencing homelessness and infrastructure projects.
