I am a fourth year Psychology transfer with a minor in FDMA at California State UIniversity, Northridge from from College of the Canyons where I received an AA in Psychology and Studio Art for transfer. Prospective student for PsyD in Clinical Psych with a focus in Neuro. My psychology interest lies in helping individuals with mental illness and/or trauma achieve a quality lifestyle through emotional education, a deep education of brain and body connections, and utilizing multiple therapeutic approaches for healing based on indivudal growth, specializing in art therapy modalities. My diverse background around science and art aids me in seeking out new, personalized solutions to patient concerns. As both an artist and a scientist, I can deeply empathize with the unique experiences of others while applying a scientific methodical approach that takes into account utilizing several forms of therapy until we find the one that works. My own experience with navigating mental health gives me a deeper perspective beyind my studies. Although I have not started clinical training, I am open to speaking about mental health, please do not hesitate to reach out.
Art by me, about feeling trapped in your own body, or mind.
