Project is enhanced by a variety of events below
August 23–30, 2026 | Professor Shikina visited the University of Caen Normandy, France, and conducted research exchanges with members of the Coral Neuropeptide Project (CNP).
Thanks to the wonderful opportunity to work with Céline and other talented members of the team, we have already obtained a great deal of promising data. Although we are not yet at the stage of publishing our findings, we have successfully identified numerous neuropeptides in corals. Our next goal is to determine, one by one, the physiological roles these neuropeptides play in corals🪸
June 6, 2026 | Professor Shikina and postdoctoral researcher Dr. Aoyama participated in the Taiwan International Symposium on Coral Reefs (TISCR), where they introduced the Coral Neuropeptide Project (CNP).
Professor Shikina and postdoctoral researcher Dr. Aoyama participated in the Taiwan International Symposium on Coral Reefs (TISCR), held in Taiwan, where they presented the CNP and some of their latest research findings in a poster presentation.
The photo shows Dr. Aoyama presenting the poster. The presentation attracted participants interested in coral physiology and neurobiology, leading to lively discussions and active Q&A.
