Parents Living After Child Estrangement (PLACE) is a support and counseling program for parents who’ve lost children to estrangement.
My name is Brian Briscoe, and I am a dually-licensed counselor in Texas. I bring professional and personal experience to PLACE. My background includes drug and alcohol rehabilitation, mandated/law enforcement treatment, private practice, and authorship. I've worked with families, couples, and groups of varying size and need.

The Conflict Etiquette Handbook is a brief guide to choosing one's words and behaviors in such a way as to lend to resolving conflict. Many times we are fully capable of resolving our conflicts, but fall into sarcasm, accusatory language, and other behaviors that exacerbate the problem. Set up in brief, easy-to-read chapters, the Conflict Etiquette Handbook is meant for couples, families, friends, and strangers. This book utilizes principles and techniques from a variety of therapeutic approaches, and is written in clear, concise language instead of clinical terminology. The Conflict Etiquette Handbook offers guidance and input that will aid your ability to resolve conflicts.
