Thomas Cheung
Alberta Health Services
Thomas Cheung is a public health inspector with Alberta Health Services in Edmonton,Alberta. He spent the first few years of his career working in a variety of inspection programs, such as personal services, housing and food safety. Since 2014, he has been the Personal Services Specialist for Edmonton Zone.
Thomas is also the current chair of the Alberta Health Services provincial personal services committee, working with health inspectors from across the province, to develop standards of practice, resources and materials to guide the inspection program in the province.
As a member of the national personal services informal working group, Thomas meets with other public health professionals across the country to discuss emerging issues, share policy development and other related topics.
Thomas has been a member of the Canadian Institute of Public Health Inspectors since 2010, and have held volunteer positions including, including Edmonton Zone Councilor, and Alberta Branch President.

It covers commonly used agents, safe dosing, absorption risks, contraindications, and documentation considerations, providing electrologists with practical strategies to enhance client comfort while maintaining safe practice standards.

Cancellation Policy
Requests for booth cancellation and refunds on exhibit space must be received in writing to COPE National via email to info@electrolysis.ca no later than January 1, 2026.
Cancellations up to this date are subject to a $100 administration fee.
Refunds will not be issued after February 1, 2026.
Most attendees will begin arriving on Friday, May 1, 2026, in the late afternoon. You are welcome to join us at this time for our casual Meet & Greet, where you’ll have the chance to network with early arrivals, enjoy the hotel’s amenities, and, if you wish, begin setting up your display.
