上午 coffee break 及 poster 競賽時間在10點至11點舉行。
由於本次參加Poster競賽人數超出預期，因此微調獎項及進行程序 (10:00至11:00 poster競賽，請在9:30以前將您的Poster 貼到定位) ，建議9:00-10:00 間參加大會活動，規則微調如下:
🔔(一)、Poster競賽分成10組進行 (10:00至11:00) ，每組第一名參加Poster Oral 競賽(共10位)。每組第二名同學成為good獎項(每組第二名原則上不參加Poster Oral競賽除非發生第四項狀況，good 獎項為third level)。
🔔(二)、獲選參加Poster Oral同學，在 14:20-15:30上台報告12分鐘(8分鐘報告，4分教授問答) ，10位上台報告同學(分兩組進行評選)選出4位Merck Excellent 獲獎者(first level) 及6位Great獲獎者 (second level)。
🔔(三)、獎金頒發:Merck Excellent (4位，每位頒發5000元獎金包含2,500元大會獎金及2,500元Merck 加碼獎金)、Great (6位，每位1,500元獎金)、Good (10位，每位500元獎金)。
🔔(四)、預計12:00前在大會報到台佈告獲選參加Poster Oral競賽的10位同學 (poster 競賽每組第一名學生)並請在 12:40 前在大會報到台前完成登記確認，如果發生poster競賽第一名同學沒有在12:40前完成參加Poster Oral 競賽報到確認視為放棄參加，將 12:50 公告由該組第二名同學遞補參加 Poster Oral 競賽。
請參加Poster競賽的同學預先準備好您的Poster Oral 競賽的PPT (想獲得 Merck Excellent 獎項請預先做準備)，在下午coffee break (Merck 冠名) 結束時，將公告所有得獎同學在大會演講結束時頒發獎項。
參賽同學注意，如果您獲選Poster Oral競賽而您未參與競賽，您的獲獎將自動降為Good獎項。Poster頒獎時如果獲獎同學因故不能領獎，請提前通知大會桌並告訴工作人員代領者姓名，如果頒獎時獲獎者因故不能領獎又無人代領，視為獲獎者放棄得獎，不再補發，獎金亦不補發。
2025 Coordination Chemistry Symposium – Poster Competition :
📌 Merck Excellent Prize Increased to NT$5,000 & Minor Competition Rule Adjustments
We are pleased to announce that the Merck Excellent Prize has been increased to NT$5,000 per recipient. Each of the four winners will receive NT$5,000, comprising NT$2,500 from the Symposium and an additional NT$2,500 generously provided by Merck.
The Symposium will be held on August 18 at the New Science and Engineering Laboratory Building, Department of Chemistry, Fu Jen Catholic University (Opening Ceremony at 9:00). Please refer to the attached file for venue details. The morning coffee break and Poster Competition will take place from 10:00 to 11:00.
Due to the unexpectedly high number of poster competition entries, the prize categories and procedures have been slightly adjusted as follows:
1. Poster Competition Format:
o The poster session will run from 10:00 to 11:00, divided into 10 groups.
o Please have your poster mounted by 9:30. It is recommended that participants join the symposium activities between 9:00 and 10:00.
o The first-place winner of each group will advance to the Poster Oral Competition (10 participants in total).
o The second-place winner of each group will receive the Good Prize (third level) and will not normally participate in the Poster Oral Competition, unless the situation described in Rule 4 occurs.
2. Poster Oral Competition:
o Time: 14:20–15:30.
o Format: 12 minutes per participant (8 minutes presentation + 4 minutes Q&A).
o Participants will be divided into two evaluation panels.
o Awards: 4 Merck Excellent Prize winners (first level) and 6 Great Prize winners (second level).
3. Prize Details:
o Merck Excellent Prize: 4 winners × NT$5,000 each (NT$2,500 Symposium Prize + NT$2,500 Merck Sponsorship).
o Great Prize: 6 winners × NT$1,500 each.
o Good Prize: 10 winners × NT$500 each.
4. Selection & Confirmation:
o The list of the 10 Poster Oral Competition participants (one from each group) will be announced by 12:00 at the registration desk.
o Participants must confirm their registration for the Poster Oral Competition by 12:40 at the registration desk.
o If a first place winner fails to confirm by 12:40, they will be deemed to have forfeited, and the second place winner of that group will be invited to participate at 12:50.
Important Notes for Participants:
o Please prepare your Poster Oral Competition PPT in advance if you aim for the Merck Excellent Prize.
o If you are selected for the Poster Oral Competition but do not participate, your award will automatically be downgraded to the Good Prize.
o Award presentations will take place after the afternoon coffee break (sponsored by Merck), following the final symposium talk.
o If you cannot attend the award ceremony, please inform the registration desk in advance and provide the name of a representative to collect your prize. If neither you nor a representative is present at the award ceremony, the prize will be forfeited and will not be reissued.
