It is the responsibility of the recipient to prove the contact information and dates for payment in a timely manner to the Pittsfield Cooperative Bank at least three weeks prior to any payment deadlines. Failure to provide this information will delay or prevent payment of the scholarship to the academic institution.

We have a heart for giving back to our local schools and communities! We established the CTCU Foundation in 2017 as a way of serving the people of our communities in the form of sponsorships, donations, and scholarships. We award four scholarships per academic year to high school seniors who attend school in our field of membership and an average of $100,000 in sponsorships and donations each year in our local communities.

The "Uniform Application" was developed by the State/Federal Working Group for the purpose of reducing regulatory burden, by eliminating the need for banks to file multiple different application forms for common applications.

The OTS, the OCC, and the FDIC worked with CSBS to develop a uniform charter and federal deposit insurance application form. CSBS has posted a copy of the form because it is expected that most state banking agencies will it as part of their charter application packages. The new form will eliminate duplicative information requests by consolidating into one uniform document the different reporting requirements of the regulatory agencies. When you signed up to receive electric service from DETEC, you became a member of the Cooperative. When more funds are generated than are needed to operate, funds are returned to members in the form of capital credits checks. When capital credit checks go unclaimed, the State of Texas allows us to use a portion of these funds for scholarships. This allows us to help promote the education of our local students and improve the quality of life in the communities we serve. The number of scholarships and the amount awarded can vary annually based on the unclaimed capital credit payments for that year.

Every year, therefore, 655 scholarships will be awarded which will cover all education costs. Additionally, the bank will educate another 140 students in various universities and colleges. When added to the number of students educated since 2007, when the Co-op Bank Foundation was created, the bank will have provided education to over 5,000 bright students who otherwise might not have been able to afford it.
