I have been an exceptional student in Automotive Technology, and have been successful in Vex IQ robotics. I have applied for ATEx in classes that would aid me in becoming a good motorsports engineer.
Thus far, I have learned valuable lessons in automotive engineering, including suspension systems, steering systems, and changing tires. I also worked on many different types of vehicles with my grandfather at his house.
I participated in VexIQ Robotics for 3 years, and it helped my teamwork skills and helped me be more open-minded. It also helped me improve my problem-solving skills. I have not done much outside of school to aid me in my journey to my dream career, but I have had many problems that I have solved in an engineering manner. I am not currently employed, but I have been paid to pet-sit and do my chores around the house. This has taught me commitment and reliability skills.
My plans are to go to a mechanical college to learn about automotive engineering. I don’t currently know too much about that, so I can’t say much about my plans, but I know that I need to go to college for the career I dream of having. I don’t plan on joining the military or a trade school, but I think an apprenticeship might help.
I aim to be a head engineer on a Formula One team, traveling the world and playing an important role in my team, making sure everything runs smoothly and everything is at its peak performance.
