I have always had a passion for cooking. Over the years, I’ve honed my skills, creating delicious meals that bring joy to my family. My husband often eagerly anticipates my culinary creations, relishing everything from hearty dinners to decadent desserts. While I love whipping up meals for him, I don’t cook as often for my son, who is off at university exploring his newfound independence (and let’s be honest, probably relying on takeout a little too much!). Nevertheless, I encourage him to take an interest in cooking, sharing tips and recipes from afar. At home, I delight in preparing special dishes for my furry companion - a lively foxhound staffie cross who is always by my side in the kitchen. 

My love for cooking is not just a hobby; it’s a way for me to connect with my family, share my creativity, and provide comfort through the universal language of good food.

George Washington the III of Pichbeck (Washy) came into our lives when he was just 8 weeks old, after being rescued from a shelter. Since then, he has become an integral part of our family, especially enjoying his time in the kitchen while Jules whips up delicious recipes. With his friendly demeanor and boundless energy, he loves to watch.  His quirky personality and affectionate nature have brought so much joy to our home, making every day an adventure.
